Reading la Casa en La Boca del Infierno Alternate reality where Buffy finds out that her biological Father is House, I am SOO waiting to see him react to the Supernatural. (The rest of the cast got moved to the east coast as well)

I can imagine House's reaction to the Hellmouth in Plainsboro.

"A Hellmouth...in New Jersey" House snarked to Giles, "I don't think anyone will notice the difference."

J/k any New Jersites

They might see that he doesn't enjoy it, not that he wants them to stop. He didn't really enjoy the "Trevor is in a comma" announcement, but he certainly didn't want to derail it either. Same with his visit to the child protection service or whatever they're called.
Also, while they might get a read on his emotions, they might not guess the source of the discomfort. And Jinn can have trouble reading complex emotions. Not to mention that now Ayla is used to being called a "she" by very nearly everyone, I doubt there's much of a reaction left.

Being an empath doesn't make you omniscient about emotions. The same way that having eyes and ears to read body language and tone of voice doesn't automatically let you decipher all the clues correctly.

Anyone else have dreams about being in the Whateley Universe?

A couple. Haven't had one since shortly after the last Tennyo chapter. First one was after spending ~36 hours re-reading Ayla from the start without stopping for anything beyond basic needs (this includes food but not sleep). Scary thing is that I'm pretty sure those 36 hours weren't sufficient to finish this monster...

I'm going to be without internet for a couple weeks. I hope I don't go into withdrawal!

Neutral

And just when two of my top favorite stories are back, too ... At least I only left after getting the first salvo, I might have gone crazy if I had known they were being published but couldn't get to them.

Maybe copy a few of the stories, for personal use, to stave off withdrawl?

Good part, as usual.

That psychic null girl is seriously nuts.

I wouldn't say nuts, supremely sadistic maybe but not nuts.

She's either nuts or evil. Although I tend more to the evil-bitch interpretation.

Anyway, great story. It seems your team doesn't have as nice a time as Team Kimba.

Never think to have thought, since the thinking of thoughts is thoughtless thinking.
You think!

The problem isn't J-Team's lack of emotion, it's that they're shared with Jade.

Personally I really like both Jade and Jinn dating the same boy. The fact that she demanded to be in a threesome with her sister as a condition to be in a relationship seriously adds to her crazy wacko cred. Not that she needs much help there (*cough* shoulder angels *cough*)

Superball into a random object that suddenly fires even though it has no power causing a chain reaction.

I was really concerned that Stacy's little secret might be found out at the hospital... but fortunately, it seems that there was no medical reason to remove her panties.

I believe the danger isn't quite over yet.

"Which is a good thing," Ms. Wyckham said from the front seat. "The last thing we needed was for your skin to break the needle when they tried to take a blood sample."

It's doubtful that they would run those tests, as it would cost money and it's unlikely to be required. But only time will tell if the tests do turn up something, that makes someone run more tests which may bring to light certain things.
