How would this be played? My lack of M&M knowledge & source material, combined with my aloofness means I would be unreliable as a player, but I'd love to lurk in if it's realtime.

I've tried a forum based (not realtime) freestyle RPG once, but my hopes were dashed when I made the only human character and everyone else played Super Saiyan Fallen Angel type characters and the DM was okay with it.

I used to do lots of tabletop RPGing before I had to move out of state. Watching can be as fun as playing.
