The ever-fluctuating roster of Canon Authors (hey, where'd that choir come from?) is once again in flux. Tragically, Hart has decided that the writing is coming too slow and too hard*, and has decided to withdraw from the group. I'm sorry to say that Hart has already pulled the plug (withdrawn) from the author's mailing list, and that we probably won't be seeing any more stories with James. Hart, if you reconsider, we'll be waiting for you.
There's also good news. Diane Castle will be joining the canon. Diane's first story will be The Turks or the Geek, which may or may not have some minor tweaking done to it, but should be joining the queue any day now. It takes place on the last school weekend before winter break and is about... well, Diane can tell you. Diane may also be giving us some stories on Ayla, and also... well, we'll have to see, won't we?
So, join me in wishing Hart the best, and welcoming Diane!
* Yes, yes, I know that adverbs, rather than adjectives are required here. It didn't fit my mood, so deal with it.

Yes, that is sad to hear and also very good to hear. But does that mean that James can't be used as a sideline character in Jade's stories? He made a good little addition to her powers.

I think that Babs just made that announcement to torment everyone.  I'm re-writing a few pieces of the story, but it takes place hours *after* combat finals end, so it's going to be WAAAAAAY down the queue, so far down that it's somewhere near the earth's core. Isn't it a shame that there's so much great reading material to get through first?
