Yeah I sort of got that idea. Sara has a lot of raw power in the psi department because of what she is however since, as Otto said, Psi is more a matter of subtlety and control, she currently is not as powerful as the real masters of the art. Otto is one of them.

I assume that once Sara fully begins to properly exercise and control her abilities, and not just use the uncontentious manifestations of them, she will grow to be more power than Otto. Of course that is a point far in the future. However this is something more for the Sara thread so I will drop it.

But Sara will always be contentious. Very Happy

Sorry, Bel, couldn't help myself. One of those 'fortuitous spelling errors' that made me laugh.

The statement in my signature is false.

Cnidaria

Where (when) did she get her backpack?

Merry's backpack was stashed by Merry in one of the previous postings when she got a tiny bit of 'net access. If you blinked while you read it, you missed it. It was a very tiny part of the whole story. In order to see it, you might have to go back and re-read that part again. I know I almost missed it but somehow I caught it.

I'm not a complete idiot - - Some parts are just missing.

Sometimes writing with geeks is like eating Jello with a chainsaw. Interesting but painful.

Merry is turning into her own personal network group.

With links now with ARC, Knights of Rome, Sara (Kelith), and now it looks like the Were-wolves want her in their pack as well.

Ironic considering her Internet capability.

"O the complicated webs we weave."

And it looks like everyone is playing their cards very close to their chests, and not sharing information.

I can't wait to see Rev. Englund's reaction when Ms. Carson tells him he's on snake disposal duty.

BTW: use the refresh button, Luke.

"May you live in interesting times" is NOT an ancient Chinese curse. The first known use was in an SF story by Eric Frank Russell, although there are some people who think it may have been invented by James Brahma (Kai Lung's Golden Hours, etc.), although there is no textev yet.

The phrase:

"The ancient Chinese curse: "May you live in interesting times""

has become a saying in its own right, although as you say it's origins not all that ancient or chinese.

Your statement is correct AFAIK but I can't help but be amused by a pedant using wiki to support their claims.

Now, now, it's at LEAST one step up from "I heard on the internet somewhere..."

(and two steps up from, "I heard on Fox News...")

Why would you?
Wikipedia is largely the work of pedants.

(And Wikipedia is the best source there is for useless trivia like this. Reasonably accurate for longish articles wih a lot of contributors on uncontroversial topics that don't require special skills to evaluate, too.)
