The description should tell everyone enough about this, but basically, a Mud I've been playing is is trying to get new players, and has finally decided to give incentives for recruitment. I figure if anyone is interested, they won't object to me mentioning it.
The game is Icesus, set in a world dying of eternal winter, I think it uses more nordic archetypes, though I'm not exactly sure on that. It's an LP mud, doesn't encourage RP, and uses a reincarnation system for changing character races and classes.
I use the same name in that game, actually that's where I got it originally, and as of writing this, am an elf templar knight.
Oh, and the website hasn't been updated in 5 years, but there is a wiki with more accurate information on classes. let me know if you decide to test the game out or want me to remove this plug, or want different or more information, or whatever.

This is where I shall promote Improbable Island, a simple morpg taking the form of a reality game shome taking place on a post apocalyptic island. Fight monsters with a rusty chainsaw while prancing around in the Predator's invisasuit. Play as humans, zombies, cat people, robots, or mutants as you seek to defeat the Improbabilaty Drive. Filled with humor, especially of the British kind.

I'm big enough to be helpful, and probably experienced enough to know how to help, but I'm not actively a mentor. I think the command to mark someone as the person who got you to play is 'refer'. I have to admit I don't really like the idea of being rewarded for getting people to join, but the rewards are nice.

Might want to look out, some of the quests only make sense to someone who's drunk, stoned, and Finnish. At least I have to assume that, since I'm none of those and some of them are fiendish. I should also state that the game isn't balanced for pk at all, I just accidentally died to an spell that did something unexpected that didn't even kill the moose it was aimed at, and I've got a fairly good tanky build. Took out three random people and the caster. Still fun though.
