Ok everyone here's something that's been bouncing in my head ever since I saw the avengers.

Under any stretch of the imagination hulk would not normally fit in the Whateley U, unless it was to smash Chuthlu himself but this one popped in my head.

Bruce Banner: Shifter 5 i,f,n,s,e, rager-3, Avatar-6(the embodiment of rage).

Hope someone else gets a chuckle out this one too.

Shouldn't that be Shifter t(toggle shift, Hulk or Banner)f(full-form)c(but I can see arguments for n)s(or w, banner has some control over if he shifts)e(mass different, comes from 'nowhere') ?

Also, since Hulk in the Whateleyverse would be in the strength-7(by whatever measurement method) category, the wiki page on shapeshifting suggests he ought to be a shifter-7, not to mention the superleaping, speedster running, high regen and other stuff he's been seen doing in various depictions.

I thought of the I because he only(in this universe anyway) has one other form that he can shift to. Granted he can shift between them could be T but I felt that I was closer. I'm not sure you can argue the W point because of the amount of control he has over the form, whether in his base form of his engaged form, I would say that his control is equivalent to a bull rider in a rodeo. He's got control as long as he's in the barrel but once he's free all he can do is hang on for the ride.(Unconscious control on the other hand might be applied because of the way his tends to avoid killing in a situation.

Oh forgot about the shifter rating,I settled at a 6 for the size that we see, I set the bench mark for a 7 at somthing like changing into godzilla(a little high but hey in my mind thats worth a 7).

Thanks for the reply L.

Cheers

I wouldn't put Nodwick down as an Exemplar - maybe some sort of warper: warps weight of stuff carried, mangles odds

Does that cover most of what he does?

What about Artemis Fowl and Butler?
I'd say

Artemis Fowl Jr.
Ex- 3 (Mental only)
Wiz - 0 (Has knowledge of magic and spells but has to borrow essence to perform spells)

Butler
Ex - 3 (Only human to defeat a troll in hand to hand combat)

How about the shifters from White Wolf's Original World of Darkness?
Well, aside from all the magic stuff they can get hold of, as best as I can remember, their shifter powers were as follows:
t: set number of forms (usually base+4, for most breeds)
f: full-form shift (usually, but I think more powerful/refined ones could do p, or even r)
n: functional shift (different stats and natural weapons)
w: mostly at-will, but I recall that sometimes phase-of-the-moon and particularly rage might trigger shifts, so maybe s+w
e: mass varies from form to form, does not come from external source

Combat in the world of darkness definitely has rules for changing what the shift does to internal organs and shifting with blows to soak damage better.

I'll reread when i get home to see what else i can find i think.

Primarily to put their capabilities a bit more solidly in my head.

ENt = trained Energizer trait, chi tricks essentially. Limited to body enhancement, aura/force fields and blasts of non specific energy.

ENt 0 = foundational training but not actually usable yet

Using Wiz 0 to encompass both shaping and what DB defines as magic, which is basically power mimicry

That entry gives me head aches when I try using it. I tried working up a char and I ended up with a level 5 for a shifter that has but 2 forms mostly human forms, no frills, and limited control on shifting between them.

And.... Just cause I was watching them the other day:

Demona (cartoon version)
Ex 3
GSD Moderate/Severe
Wiz 3
Manifest 2/?/a (stone skin)(lost)
Regen 3 (stone sleep)
Shifter 4 i, f, s, (?) (Good case in point for my issues of the Shifter table)

Goliath
Ex 5
Manifest 2/?/a (stone skin)
Regen 3 (stone sleep)
GSD Moderate/Severe

Lex
Ex 2
Gadgeteer 1-2
Devisor ?
Manifest 2/?/a (stone skin)
Regen 3 (stone sleep)
GSD Moderate/Severe

[b]Elisa Maza[/u]
Ex 1
Wiz (latent, by way of her Father's connection to the Coyote spirit)
Probability masher 2 (she get to dang lucky at times)

Xanatose
Bad ass Baseline

Fox
Ex 2-3
Wiz 2-3
Shifter (lost, Eye of odin)

The Mutates
Energizer (internal) 3-4 (faux Ex)
Energizer (external) 2-4 (energy blasts)
GSD Moderate/Severe
