You know Spark isn't the only one that Devisors Carbon Caroline does too, Hmm could she make a suit of armour out of an high temperature resistant carbon?

Goldendork uses light as a power
Light can be refracted and bent by many things including crystals and magic like Caroline's
Diamonds are crystals of Carbon
Caroline can play magical armourer with Carbon

.....My magic narrative eightball suggests hilarity may be about to ensue.

Yeah, GL's powers are light-based, which make me wonder one thing: could the asshole ambush Caroline (for helping Aby and causing him to have his ass handed to him) while she's around Kirby Hall (Psi and Magic departments), if so I can se him incuring in the wrath of the whole (or at least most) spellcasting crowd, the one that could seriously screw with him is Natch, her Erebeal magic eates light becoming stronger in the process.

How could I miss she's the protagonist from your other story?

New update! Detention with a couple familiar characters, and the response from the FSA.

And even better, I've finished writing the story, now I just need to type and post each week . . . and work on Caroline's side of September, in 'Diamond Does Not Bend'. Smile

Nice chapter, thank you for posting.

So things might be looking up for Abby.

Slowly but surely, what with her talking to shroud and jade, it might help her at the Faction meeting when word spreads.

So it does seem that Rev E knows how to do a soft sell on religion, I'm interested in seeing how that turns out.

Although through all this one thing keep poping up in my mind...

Who the hell ordered 1500 pounds of Marshmallow!?
And what do they plan on doing with them?

She could do with a pocket-sized voice recorder or camcorder, so when she retaliates she can prove to fellow students she didn't start it. Ideally she should learn to control her strength to such an extent that if a male student tries attacking her, she just gives him a jolt to the nuts that will put him in sufficient pain for her to make a getaway, but also sufficiently small pain for him to recover after a few minutes without requiring medical treatment.

But given all the hints about action, evidently Mono's going to try something big and audacious, such as a big fight. Hopefully when it does occur, Aby will have the presence of mind to remember what she's been told by the administration and either manage to extract herself from the ruckus or get a call through to Security.
