PDF Repost of Chapters 1-26 has been posted to the Fan Fiction Forum

I can do an ePub if that is better for more folks or just PM the ePub version.

I might repost everything, but that might take a bit due to all the formatting.

Thank you for reposting the story. You are an awesome author btw... Did you ever consider writing professionally?
I mean you wrote a whole book in your free time and kept up a more or less weekly shedule for about half a year.

I just want to thank you for writing and want to suggest cooperating with some other fanfic authors. I just love reading about the other characters in the canon authors stories and it would be cool if something like that could happen with the fanfics too.

Thank you for writing this awesome story. I guess since I have a pdf now I'll just have to reread the whole story Very Happy

Thanks,

I have been a bit slower with the last chapters. I have been trying to use some of XoA's advice to improve my writing and that has slowed things down. Plus, work has been busy the last few weeks...no comment. Smile

I would love to have Whisper, Syn and Zelda team up at Whateley. Stainless would be cool to work in also with the military background for her character.

I still think the spell as spam makes a potent "crisis" (and we have all heard of what government slavemasters think about crisis-es)

even if they don't exist "in the wild", one Los Alamos leak and the anti-virus companies will scramble to be the first to release "protective" products, at a modest price, after properly panicking the population, of course.

And you thought government recruiters were bad at Whately. Let loose Tammy from NEXT.

That would be cool . . . but unfortunately Zelda is in college, and too old for Whateley!

Well... it's not like you don't have other characters who only have a origin story until now ^^

Than she would have four years of mutant specific classes (the normal accademic classes would be confermed), seriously speaking, she's immortal so four years don't make much difference, she would have a place where she can learn how to use magic safely, she would be able to do some serious networking; what Whateley has to offer outweightes the college by order of magnitude, she can restart the college at later time (maybe in some areas that help her in PR department like Comunication Science, Psychology, Political Science).

As for being too old, Carmilla is too (sure she's officially dead as Micheal White but she has inherited his accademic curriculum) as is Eldritch (even if for very peculiar reasons) and Fling seems to be destined to enroll at Whateley as well; Bluntly put she just too powerful, she NEEDS Whateley.

Very good points, but remember that the characters think she's too old for Whateley, which is why they settled for Saurandin as a teacher. I am sure the administration would make an exception for her, but they haven't been asked.

Maybe after the mess with Sauradin has been solved they will contact the Accademy asking for advise.... just an idea.

Going back to Whisper.

Oh... My... God...

THAT WAS AWESOME! I ended up staying up until 1 a.m. reading this story. Nice pacing and keeping you guessing on what is going to happen next. Very well edited compared to a lot of other stories (including some bound novels I have read). I only saw a few mistakes including making Fey into Few. My biggest problem was how the tenses kept changing. Past, present, something that felt second person POV, past, etc. It was kind of all over the place.

Whisper was a fun character and her characterization is what saved her from seeming like Fey+Hive+Paige. You also limited her power compared to theirs which helped. She was just plain old fun though, learning how things worked and not even figuring out how awesome her powers were until later. I liked the fact that she couldn't figure out why she had to be careful with the computer powers and then *bam* watch out with the magic ones as well. She is a character that is supposed to make others think. I could see some of the fundamental "laws" of magic changing just because she is there and that will be fun to watch.

Please, keep up the great work and give us some more (great, I sound like a crack addict).

Nah, I just drank while pressing the refresh button all night wondering where everything went. That I would never be able to write stupid questions or laugh at the antics of people I hardly know. Never to find out how Toni and Nikki's love lifes ended. Will Ayla become a dude again? Will Jade ever get working gear and have her own kids? Will Billie ever find happiness, will that happiness be in going to the stars on a badass spaceship with her badass crew? Will Hank ever get some love? Will we ever find out what the hell is up with Jet? And I better stop before I write out every plot question...

Oh! Will Greasy ever find true love?! Argh I must stop.
