Wow... Laughs #4 AND #6? That must be some prime evil there...

Don't be silly, it can't be a prime evil 'cause neither 4 nor 6 are prime numbers. If it were laughs 2, 3 or 5 on the other hand...

The main hurdle is we were neither given the reason for such an attitude towards mutants from Goodkind older males, nor have we met Ayla's grandparents. And without this, we have no clear motives.

Also, Goodkinds as a family. What do we know about this clan as a whole? To produce such a persistent negative reaction, it was to be event that not just touched the elders, but mocked their entire way of life.

Yes, yes, yes!

No one has given the backstory on the Goodkind family. Yet.

You won't see more of it until the Ayla summer story or the first story of Fall Term 2007. Which, at the rate we've been going, would come out about... June 2439?

Very Happy
Diane

Dunno, you seem to crank them out faster then the rest ;p perhaps in 2008? j/k! 2010 near October 31st art 12:45 PM

Sorry for the double-post but this just just popped into my head. The Necromancer uses Zombies again but with Loophole and possibly Murphy at the party What do you wanna bet they take her side or do a sudden "Thriller" episode.

Probably need to go to bed soon. ;p

Murphy won't be at the party. I don't think Ayla has even met her, only TK rates "plus-ones," and even if Loophole rated a "plus-one" there are more likely people than Murphy.

Plus, Murphy is a newbie, still with control issues regarding her powers. I don't think she would be cleared to go to Boston.

You'll learn more in Ayla 11 and/or Ayla 12.

Umm, yes, I do have this planned out rather obsessively, why do you ask? Very Happy

Diane

Given that the Birthday Brawl is, what, Ayla 8?, inquiring minds are now wondering just what number the Ayla stories might already be planned out to...

It's 42, isn't it, Diane? Because *that* must be the ultimate question!

I think Diane is writing Ayla dying words at age 96 at the moment. Razz
And that's if BioRegenetics hasn't come up with a way to extend human life by then.

AH-HAH-HAH-HAH-HAH!!!

I'm sorry, this completely crackd me up, because I *have* just recently written Ayla's last words. In a manner of speaking.

As you will discover one of these months...

Still smiling evilly,

It's simple, really. Ayla manages to turn back fully male, so is no longer Ayla, but once again Trevor!

Either that, or he loses his ability to talk.

You need to use more commas. That's right, YOU!

Sign language and Psi communication use words.

Death or legal name change are the only options I think.

Can you tell us the third letter of the last word? Is it A or M?

Another possible meaning for "last words... in a manner of speaking" is if Ayla BELIEVED that those would be his last words and got all Spock-in-Wrath-of-Khan on us... and then he didn't die after all.

Well, Diane could be tricking us - she's already stated that Ayla will deal with Paul regarding the family name eventually with regards to this IPO, so it could be the end of Ayla *Goodkind* she's speaking of. Or the temporary or permanent end of Ayla (who now has a male body and no longer is *Ayla* thanks to the BIT slicer (or Jobe or something else)), or a perceived inevitable end of life for Ayla in the Boston Brawl or otherwise, or Ayla's actual death, or Ayla's permanent feminisation and subsequent breakdown to eventually come out as a totally different person etc.
