How many people carry earplugs around with them on a regular basis?

After the attack on Halloween, a hot commodity from the gadgeteers and devisers has been special earplugs that protect against sonic attacks.

May no one tell you it's impossible until after you accomplish it.

Good point, but would those be rated for regular voice? They might stop Screech, but would they stop Vox?

Ayla used some in the fight against Vox, I'm pretty sure it was standard issue. And in one of the stories that has Jericho as the POV character, it mentions that the normal ones do protect against the harmonics that sonic sirens use, might not help against psi sirens though.

Uhm, I think Screech is way more powerful than Vox.

Earplugs don't help against being torn apart at the cellular level.

Ooh goody - we might actually see Sara's combat final this side of Christmas - and find out who had the misfortune to stand against her Smile

(Imagine if, just for fun, they pitted Sara and Sarah against each other... or even more evilly, put the two of them on the same side against a common opponent)
