Well, Hewley knows what Olivia can do, so he knew what limits to push.

Well, it's been fun.

The first chapter of Figment's Whateley escapades is over. I'll be back in about a week, so check back on February 21st to check out part one of I Dream of Figment!

ok now I'm seriuosly curious what exactly her powers are. From the titel and what we've seen so far and thouugh Ms Carsons words I'm thinking something along the lines of messing with peoples memorys.wow perfect ninja assasin potential.

Not quite, Larc. Her name is Figment because as far as the world knows, she doesn't exist. And I've left some pretty hefty clues about her powers in the story, and even the title of the next story. Here's one more:

Check the Whateley wiki article about the Five-Fold Court.

Well, at first I was wondering why they would have given Figment a roommate, since Hawthorne is supposed to be singles only. But, if she isn't supposed to exist, then it almost makes sense.

@Larc: No problem! If you have trouble figuring out Fig's power in the future, I'm working on a vignette that goes into the details of Hewley's and Carson's conversation that will explain quite a lot. It should be done before I Dream of Figment is completely finished, but I'm not sure when I'll post it, if only for spoiler safety.

@Letomo: Yeah, she's supposed to not be allowed to leave her room (Like that'll work), so she can have a roommate. Plus, since she's a Regen-7 (It's not a spoiler, I implicitly identified her as such with the blade test), she can easily handle the worst Hawthorne has to offer.

Anyway, here's where things get interesting.

Authors, do you have a character you'd like to enter Figment's life? I want this iteration of Whateley to have a cast of characters that are as equally diverse and rich as the Canonverse. So I want the best that the Crystal Hall has to offer. If you want to submit a character, either PM me or post it here. If your character is entered into the story, you'll get credit for him or her in each chapter.

The first search is for Figment's roommate! I'm looking for an out-of-control kid who can keep a secret. Entries must be in by Sunday, February 21. Good luck!

Except Heyoka is in Poe, not Hawthorne.

Well, a win by default is still a win. Very Happy

Firelarc's idea takes the gold. See Part 1 to see how it turns out.
