I believe I read a recent statement by Maggie to the tune that, although she DOES have ideas for more stories in that setting, she is bringing the current story to a closure soon so she can dedicate herself to other projects for a while. But she will likely come back to it in the future.

Just wondering about Maiden By Decree. It just felt to me that story line wan't QUITE finished. Is there one more small chapter left to do a wrap-up/epilogue with?

Yes there is going to be at least one more chapter to wrap things up in the current arc of Deirdre's story. I just haven't had much free time to write lately, but never fear, there is more coming. Smile

It's not just that chapter I meant by "lagging behind". I'm perfectly fine with authors giving one story site preference for first release over others. But chapter 25 is missing from the library as well.

Part 28 is up, but still not quite at the end of the story. Besides, the bad guys have plans for making more trouble. Which means the story is not guaranteed to end with the upcoming wedding...
