Not sure about her seeming too happy (Sir Lee's explnation is as good as any), but she seems almost oriental in that picture. She's always been described as 'Christina Ricci as Wednesday Addams' in the stories, so you might actually be able to get pictures.

Hmm...

I was thinking a truly flat expression, like Charles Addams used to draw for Wednesday Addams. That could help you with the shape of the face and the eyes, too.

But I love most of the other sketches! The second one of Jobe, all nose and no chin, looks particularly weasely and Jobe-esque.

And yes, Render is the big black guy, while Thrasher is the white skaterb0i.

Courtesy of the Wiki: She has a long, angular face, golden eyes and stark white hair with "devil horn" forelocks, atop a thin body with little in the way of curves.

So it looks as though it's just part of her hair growing in an unusual manner...

I'm not sure what you are looking at. We had already had a discussion before that a lot of people thought Thrasher was black, but he isn't. This was at the very start of this thread, right below the original artwork.

And Jadis or Malachi didn't appear in the first art on this page because it was drawn as a response to the previous artwork drawn of the Diabolik family... But they appear in later art with the Bad Seeds here.
