I've been in the open betas...same screen name
Most of my RL friends are going Lumi, I'll probably have one of each.
I've reserved the name Jiin....haven't yet decided whether she'll be Dragon, Templar or Lumi
and, though I'm tempted to do that, my Jin is not based on Jade...she's an RP concept I came up with around 2001
a reluctant telepath with split personalities
the main: Jean Hannah, an Americanized, cynical, sarcastic Japanese woman with primarily telepathic talents who tries not to use them as much as possible and is a lawyer/private investigator
a....oh man, just realizing what this is....a telekinetic progression...Hana Jin, who is a open-friendly, banzai bombastic samurai-ko that's pretty much Jean's repressed personality traits
I just barely realized that she's similar to Jade in some ways
been a while since I used the telekinetic construct idea, mostly it's been just split personalities the last few years
any I've been asking in general if there are any Whateley fans around...guess we just missed it
and yes, think Kingsmouth Academy is/was very much similar to Whateley

I got to play the final weekend beta test...for about 4 hours total.
Story was good.
Graphics was good.
Game mechanics are a bit tricky, but good.
The skill wheel is definitely different.
My 5yr old son watched it over my shoulder, until the zombies chased my character into the church. He was yelling, "The zombies! They're right behind ya! Run!"
Then he ran out of the room, but came back in to watch a few seconds later.
Was kind of funny and had to give him the talk about how it was like "Plants vs. Zombies" and not real.
