Heck, It would be in character for Jade to stay at the school just to keep Tennyo company.

Yes, but Tennyo is going to have her own Easter break story.

Considering what has happened the last break when Tennyo and Jade were divided..... this sounds omnious.

Possibly..., but I doubt that the level of destruction would have been much different.

I agree, but shouldn't this be in a Phase thread?

Two thoughts
First, Phase might be mounting an operation against Emil Hammond, assuming that worthy hasn't already been fried during Hive's Christmas break
Second, any chance that this could have a Ayla / Jadis / Jade crossover in NYC? That in particular would be awesome, considering the history Jadis has in the area.
Maybe Jinn could learn some new tricks from Junkyard. After Jade single-handedly hands a big chunk of the ECG their heads, of course.

I'm thinking that Jade could be considered a faux or pseudo gadgeteer on the strength of her spirit-using study-habits. She's basically pulling the Naruto shadow-clone training technique.
Let's see here, we know that she has a tendency to set her selves to studying and other such things while she sleeps, waking up every so often to renew the charge. She pulls double classes.
I'd say that it is a modest estimate to assume she gets an average of 24 hours of study in a day. But I will say an average of 12 hours a day to account for times that she did not have her normal schedule running or days she took off.
She's been doing this for around 195 days. That's 2,340 hours of time, some of it study, some of it practical.
Again, the 12 hours a day is REALLY underestimating the amount of studying Jade gets in a day. She's usually going around with at least 3 of herselves since Jann is usually around her for her classes.
Also she has working practical knowledge of manipulating actual gadgets and devises.
She's going to hit the traditional 10,000 hour mark in well under a year.
Eventually, I'm guessing that she'll be making actual working gadgets to add to what she can do with her spirit selves.
Also, if she starts being able to put out more spirit selves...the situation begins to advance even quicker.
Now...imagine Jade getting into her head that she or Jinn should look into take the magic classes for heightening her cover story
We KNOW that magic can be learned by those without the wizard mutation.
We also know that Jade has a Demon Mark to Billie which might make casting spells a bit easier.
So...now...imagine by the end of her fourth Year...Jade as a Wiz-0 and making real gadgets on top of everything else.

A few additional hours of training is woefully insufficient to qualify as faux-Gadgeteer.
The ability to understand complex systems with a single touch, however, is a bona fide Gadgeteer power.
