Sara doesn't usually let anybody into her inner circle/team unless their foremost loyalties are to her. Possible exception being the Merry twins but pretty sure push came to shove Sara wins over church/god issues if it was important.
So I think one of the reasons Jet's personality is different than Jade's is because somehow Jet is no longer bonded to Tennyo (at least not as strongly). The Merry twins links to the Church seems to be of differing strengths. If Jet's "Jade soul fragment" has been nested in a more real body (and started to take root there) could Sara double bond just that fragment weakening Jets kneejerk responses concerning Tennyo and possible explaining were Jet is getting all the free juice from. Or sense she has the true soul firmly bonded maybe Tennyo's subconscious starwalker personality decided to be magnanimous and released her hold on the mere fragment when she felt Sara trying to bond her (big stretch there).
Course all this assumes Jet's body is more alive then a bunch of colored plastics, powders and metals.
I really need to look into this true soul verses regenerating soul bit *ads to rapidly growing list* can a regenerating soul take seed in a new organic body and grow into a true soul. Maybe thats where babies souls come from? Really have no idea. I really have to stop saying really so much...really.

Is Heyoka marked as well? Because she's a member of The Pack as I recall. Besides, I think Jade is perhaps Sara's closest (perhaps only) friend (as in not lover, not marked, but true friend), so Jet has that tie to her.| Quote: |

Yes but if Tennyo turns on Sara, for any reason, even stupid reasons or ones resulting from mind control etc...Jade is going to take Tennyo's side period. Especially if there is a fight. Unlikely as all this may be its possible. I don't think Sara would want someone like that as a body guard/constant companion.

Yes. I was going for the fact that despite being soul fragments (still linked in some way) they can experience such bonds on their souls differently. So it sets a precedent. Though your right its not as clear cut as that.

I wonder if we haven't been looking at the Jet question all wrong. At first I was thinking that somehow Jade cast a very long lasting charge. Hey Sarah could've super-sized it someway. But now I'm wondering if that charge was cast into something that was in itself was alive or became alive because of Jade's milk/Sarah's magical resources. Perhaps some of that regenerative tissue of Jade cloned her another body.
That would make sense of that line that "Jet was well Jet." Someone that started off as Jinn/Jann charge but has become literally a new living person.
Seeing how we have all of only two or three lines to work with this all speculation of the wildest sort. The real question is this. Is Jet going to be revealed in a Sarah story or one by someone else?

As there has been some discussion in the Jade thread I thought I'd resurect this old thread of speculation about Jet. Perhaps reading through it might assist the latest bunch of WAG's to come up with something new?

...huh. That's right, Sara can "regurgitate" souls that she's consumed. In fact, we know she can do this because she used the soul of the security guard she killed when she laid the first of her "eggs" a few months ago. So, it's certainly possible for her to go for a bit of a hunt, maybe clear out the sewers of anything living (though we know she doesn't do that because Stan and Morrie were shooting giant aligator-monsters with Jade less than a week later), and send Jet back into her liquid fabric body.
