Or the whole building, or the North American continent, or... It seems clear that the potential is there and it's just a matter of control.

Whoa! This is Whateley, not DC. (Why do I feel the need for a '300' parody now? This! Is! WHATELEY!!!) Very Happy

He can disintegrate a very limited amount. For example, he couldn't disintegrate an entire Volkswagen Beetle. A person? Definitely.

Oh, there's a scene that just popped in my mind, Gotterdammerung (and Sunshine) in New York guests of Jadis (don't know the reason) and the Cadet Crusaders giving Jadis another whack (or at least trying), Ultramess swings that damn hammer at Gotterdammerung and gets it disintegrated, Gryphon jumps in to help him and gets her power frame partially disintegrated leaving her a sitting duck.

That sort of thing could totally happen. His power is really useful, occasionally and other times its not.

Yeah, however I suspect that Bek wouldn't agreed having Gryphon's armor wrecked as it would end her career as pain in the... er, as superheroine and she wouldn't be able to harrass Jadis anymore.

However I would love to see Ultramess getting his hammer disintegrated, he would probably retaliate with an energy blast though, which could seriously harm Gotterdammerung.... could it be the time that Mrs Carson choses to pay a visit to NY and bring down the hammer over the Moron Crusaders, oh I can see Jadis going to the ECG's HQ and tell them to keep Gryphon & Co away from her because her mentor has come with her this time and she really doesn't need another clusterfuck that she's being watched over, naturally the Underage Superhero Wannabe Club jumps in to twart whatever criminal scheme Jadis has up her sleaves and arrest her and her mentor:

Jadis: "Please let me introduce my mentor, Cadet Crusaders meet Lady Astarte, Lady Astarte meet the Cadet Crusaders"

Mrs C.: "So this are the Cadet Crusaders, I'm starting to understand why Megagirl doesn't want to get involved with them, but lets get down to the business, who's the one that hospitalized one of my pupils?"

Jidis points to Ultramax, beating ensues.

I don't see this go like this. First the CC's will jump Shebeast and Mrs Carson before asking questions, so they will already be completely thrashed before the introductions are made and Lady Astarte is not the type of hero to go pounding herself but instead she will take Ultramax by his ears before going to the ECG to complain about the behaviour and amateurism of the CC.

The CC jumping Lady Astarte (when she is walking next to Jadis as Elizabeth Carson) is completely in line with what they've done before, and would be totally hilarious. Since Carson occasionally goes to NY, that is actually a credible scenario, so I'd really like to see it come to life (or something else along those lines).

I can see it now! And can barely stop laughing! Hahahahahaha!

Seriously though, the CC need someone to give them some real training. They will so die if they come across some one vindictive.

Yeah, imagine what would happen if they crossed paths with The Necromancer.

Immagine what would happen if Team Kimba ever pays a visit to NY and the Cadet Crusaders see that there are two DFAs, I bet they would pound first and ask questions later... or at least, they would try.

I wonder if they're going to get told that "Extreme measures pre-authorised" means that if they run away no-one (sane) is going to think any less of them.

Well, bear in mind that he has normal human strength and speed and reaction times, with no effect on things he doesn't directly touch. I would think he'd be easier to stop than, say, Scrambler. Just shoot him before he touches you. There are lots of kids at Whateley who would be a lot more dangerous in an ordinary police confrontation.

You just can't put handcuffs on him. Very Happy

Looks like Gotterdammerung is out of the closet after Halloween, I hope they know to lay off of someone who doesn't even have to hide the bodies.

Well, if he's regularly cross-dressing to classes, either the bullies are scared of him or he's ignoring them.

If you thing a bit, since he was out of the closet anyway, it's probably *best* for him if he takes the bull by the horns. If everybody knew he was a cross-dresser and he chose to hid back in the closet, bullies would see it as weakness and pounce on it.

The way it is, they have a much harder time: he DOES have a scary power, so physical bashing is not an option, and at this point his answer to verbal abuse would be "Yeah, I like girl clothes, and MY GIRLFRIEND likes it too, what's your point?"

Ah I understand... you too want some awesome clothes? I'm sorry, I doubt mine would fit you, but I can ask some of my girl friends.

Never think to have thought, since the thinking of thoughts is thoughtless thinking.
You think!

Depends, if his power is instinctive he could potentially disintegrate the bullets as they touch his skin. This would render him immune to any kinetic weapon, though beam weapons could still hurt him. (hmm this gives me an idea for an rpg I play in- hover at sprint speed ceiling 2mm, anything within 1 mm of skin, not specifically exempt, disintegrated.)
