Just thought I'd post this up here for those that might be interested.
Margeret Weis Productions (the company behind 'Smallville', 'Supernatural', and 'Leverage' RPGs) recently announced at GenCon that they'll be producing a new line of Marvel RPG books.

There's their site; hasn't been updated with the news at the time of this posting, but from what I hear, they have an excellent team of designers working on it.
As to whether this Marvel RPG will be a good match for running Whateley Universe games? I'll have to take a look at it all first, but I know they've done some good work with Leverage and Smallville.
