I was just at a local bookstore and I saw a book which had me chuckling, "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Taoism."
It then occurred to me, this would make a WONDERFUL gift for a certain someone in the infirmary recovering from a slightly embarrassing injury, delivered with the following note:
"N'Dizi, I read the title and instantly thought of you. Hopefully this will help enlighten your days of recovery.
Sincerely,
Bladedancer, Handmaid of the Tao"

And it was published in 2002, so it should be available.

That is totally brilliant! Actually, I can see Ayla doing that as well, you know, as she is more into tweaking people like N'Dizi more than Chou is. Or maybe Justicar, after the whole debacle. There are a number of people who would get a good chuckle out of that.
Man that's funny.

Sounds like something that Shadow Stalker dude needs to read too.

I thought Ayla would be more inclined to cater a lunch for N'Dizi, everyone knows how bad hospital food tends to be.
My suggestion for an appetizer would be a small plate of baby gherkins, with toothpicks stuck in them.

Just like Chaka doesn't mean leopard in any language.

Egads! Do you mean to say that BananaMan is alive and well in WU?

You were talking about Judicator, weren't you?
Somehow I don't see it happening, she's an avatar of a greek goddess after all, I don't see her handing out books about other religions, maybe a book about greek mythology containing stories that show why pissing gods (Ares in particular) off is a bad idea.

Well, WU isn't like our reality, most of the differences might be due how the rise of paranormals but many small differences (and quite a few not-so-small, like the GOO) are present from ancient time, some of this differences might be linguistic in nature.

Why wouldn't see hand out a book on the Tao? It is more a lifestyle than religion perse (to my limited understanding). Plus, you have do idea what Judicator herself believes. What would a fallen god believe in (retorical question)?
