It's out of sequence but since it's not related to a story I went ahead and did it.

Babs and Diane have been working on a few bits of info for the site.

A FAQ page and an updated author's page. I just finished sending them up.

Sometimes writing with geeks is like eating Jello with a chainsaw. Interesting but painful.

Warren does all the hard work. I just occasionally channel Fractious and get obsessive-compulsive about stuff. Speaking of which, Eric and I will have a 'reading list order' before too terribly long. Eric's done a lot more work on it than I have. Only problem? The best reading-list-order splits some of the longer stories (Ayla and the Tests, Insanity Prerequisite, some of Merry, ...) up into individual chapters, just to make things more difficult.

More difficult? Really, it's the exact opposite! I'd read some stories listed first in the Stories page order that described events from another character's point of view (Jade's ordeal with the BIT changer, for example, described from Chou's POV in To The Mountain) when the actual story for those events was lower down on the list, so a good reading order would really help. And some characters' stories - Ayla's and Jade's, for example - read almost like a long novel cut up into chapters anyway.

There are worlds where the sky is burning, and the sea's asleep, and the rivers dream. People made of smoke, and cities made of song. Somewhere there's danger, somewhere there's injustice, and somewhere else the tea's getting cold...

Long novel? You could say that. "Ayla and the Tests" is longer than all but one Harry Potter novel. There is more of Fractious in me than you really want to see. Very Happy
