What, no "Eye of the Tiger" for Chaka? And what about some "Night on Bald Mountain" for Carmilla?

And I would have thought that Jade's selection would be a lot more J-pop-y

"Eye of the Tiger" is better used for training montages, not live combat, besides, Beltane probably blasts it out to drive Chaka nuts every time she trains. I really don't see "Night on Bald Mountain" being badass enough for Carmilla, it sounds more like a lullaby that GOO's would play to their spawn.

I think this would work reasonably well for Jade.

Dark, light; flip sides of the same coin.

Or perhaps the theme from "Lucky Star"?

If you're going to use O Fortuna(for Carmilla or anyone else) I'd really suggest using this- http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/window/media/page/0,,307141- 909687,00.html
The Apocalypse Chorus Remix by Apotheosis. This is battle music. This is the music I want playing as I face the hordes of the zombie apocalypse... Crazy

As for other music for Carmilla might I suggest I Sit on Acid by the Lords of Acid?
http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/window/media/page/0,,1563318 -3916645,00.html

Or for that matter pretty much anything else by the Lords too.

(Edit) BTW, sorry the links are just clips but I don't want the board busted for anything simple and silly. The tracks are worth paying for if you're really interested.

Of course, you could always use Sephiroth's theme. Wrong gender, but I think Sara could fix that.

Hm.. In some ways, I guess you could say that either Fubar or Sara could be Danse Macabre.

Won't the song become One Tentacled Angel instead? Wait... that came out wrong. Embarassed

Heh heh. Pretty good stuff.

The problem as I see it: While Jade wishes she could fight to the Noir theme, she's not there yet. She's trying for "so cool" and ends up with a bit too much Gilligan. (From the Island...? Never mind.) I mean, there's the rest of the team, and they've got something great and heroic playing under all of their actions, and then she trips and falls on her face.

But if she keeps training, and works hard, maybe by junior year she'll deserve that Noir theme. She wants it.

As for Shroud -- not bad! Her creepiness and spookiness is all fake, of course, but if her victim doesn't realize that, so what?

Finally, for Fey you're going to have to add a piece that's less ethereal and seriously kick-ass. You know, tsunami towering-over-you-and-about-to-smash-everything kick ass. First, there's the whole voodoo wolves thing. Also look for her applying boot to booty in the Christmas story.

Actually as i suggested a while back anything by the band "Freezepop" would be good for Jade.
The lyrics are so sweet and cheesy that they should be declared a lethal weapon. Twisted Evil

Well, if we were animating this, and were too dang cheap to pay a real composer to write theme music for each character, I'd say leech the opening theme for 'Revolutionary Girl Utena' for Chaka's music.

To Be, or Not to Be; this is a question?

Good choices for Bladedancer. And the others fit for the most part as well. That gives me an idea for an Underdog. Theme music plays around him, not just his but music for other people. Several people, including a few Capes, want him on their side for intro music. Problem is he even has sneaking up music which is a real give away.

Marvel, or rather, Steve Gerber did this back when he was doing Howard the Duck. (Question, did anyone besides Gerber ever do Howard the Duck?) Anyway, the poor schmoe put a can of spray-on oven cleaner in the microwave, then turned it on. It exploded over him, granting him super powers. He knew then that his duty was to clean up crime. And wherever he went, his background music followed. (He wasn't a very good crime fighter for a multitude of reasons.)
