I think the change sounds like a good idea. Like you said Liu Yifei does look closer to Chou's age.
But would it be a retroactive change through all of the stories or just a future story change?

I don't see it as being a problem. As a life long reader the cover rarely matches what's inside. It is nice to get some kind of idea of the details, but I rely on the words, not the picture. Maybe words aren't my addiction of choice but it's close! I had to laugh about the dictionary remark earlier, but you have to add the thesaurus as being the two books always within reach.

Yes, particularly when you take into account that some of the pics were intended to represent not Chou, but a previous Handmaid. You implied a few times that the Handmaids tend to look similar, except that of course they might be different ages depending on how old they were on getting Destiny's Wave and how long was their stint as Handmaid. So for an older Handmaid you might even have to look for an older Chinese actress (who looks badass holding a sword).

Having just looked at both actresses, I think you are on the right track. Liu does look younger which is more in line with the stories. But I do think if you are going to change the pictures you should do it on ALL the posts, not just the new ones. I know it's a lot more work but it would be consistent and that would be good. The idea that no one (mostly) will be able to tell them apart is just coo coo. But they do look a lot alike because they are both beautiful and people thinking "beauty" and looking for actresses will tend to go for people who have similar looks. So yeah, they all look alike... LOL
