Triple whoopsies!

We've now reached the initial figures from the first post in this thread, presuming Phase was listed with the boys.

Any others known to be Poe Freshmen? Ideally we should include "mentioned but not named" (describe and cite). What does Welcome to Poe, etc., provide numbers wise?

It doesn't. None of the early stories do. I already looked. Granted I could have missed one, but I don't think so.

Those are the original numbers I had-I did count Ayla as a guy (he is, isn't he?) but I found these Poesies whose year is never mentioned: Askey, Destry, Diamanta, Quake and Troika. And thanks for reminding me of the 'unusual numbers of tg characters.' I forgot that had come up

Askey is probably a junior -- in "Ayla and the Birthday Brawl," Ayla leaves Mega-Girl/Delta Spike's room (which is 3rd floor, sophomore's land) and goes up one floor to talk to Askey. Also, in "Evil Eye", Chaka and Shrike leave Zenith's room and go play Askey's game, which from the relaxed way it's phrased, suggests it's in the same floor (it is) and Shrike is in the same class as Askey.

Which then implies (to me) that Destry is also a junior, as I seem to remember him being Askey's roomate

Didn't she try take on several different shapes but find she could only take girl shape at some time? Or am I confusing her with some other character possibly in some other storyverse?

Wouldn't that limit her powers? I mean if she only relies on the lust aura for seduction her skills are going to drop one day. Even her "dad" can become a woman.

There's a thing called "default shape" -- the one she assumes when not actively trying to morph.

I know about default shape Sir Lee. oljak.eru's statment makes it seem like Sara can only take female shapes though. If I remember Sara's "mutant" power set right she is a PSI/Shifter combo with pseudo-speedster.

You remember more than I do. I ran a search on Destry, and the *only* mention I could find was him/her (I'm not sure even on that) being at the common room when Tennyo was pursuing Mr. Lodgeman, back in "It's Nice to Have Friends."

Although Ayla's technically a boy, because of his gynecomastia he's regarded as a girl by the majority of campus, and he does apparently have both sets of equipment 'down below'. He's also legally and officially registered as a girl.

Heyoka is an interesting case in that while she started off as female, under the influence of the spirits she can shift to both sides of the gender spectrum. As the male forms include the necessary equipment, she's placed with Hank.

Meanwhile, we've now got two other characters to add - Tara (X-O, Lesbian) and Alex (Vamp, M2F changeling).

I'm pretty sure that's definitely false.

He's regarded as a girl because he looks like a girl. Even Exemplar guys think Ayla looks pretty, and they have disgustingly high (read: piggish) standards. Ayla has a girl's skeletal structure, a girl's face, a girl's chest, a girl's hips, a girl's legs, a girl's hands and feet... Ayla is 95% Exemplar hottie, 5% disgusted guy. Even his DNA is confused.

As for Heyoka, you're right. She/he doesn't even look human some days.

Tara (X-O, Lesbian)

Forgive me if this is cleared up in the second half of Vamp 1, but is there any evidence to say that X-O is a lesbian and not bi?

Well, Poe being Poe, it's hard to say - after all, someone who regards themselves as lesbian may be attracted to natal females, late stage (as well as complete) M2F changelings, possibly even early stage F2M changelings. Then there's the tricky problem of emotional auras to boot...

As for Ayla, reading the wiki it appears as though he doesn't have female gonads, just the male set - although that's his only remaining externally visible masculine feature.

Also shouldn't there be a mark next to Carmilla's name since the Lovecraft room spends half of the time over in Hawthorn?

Officially she has been transfered in Hawthorne, practically her room is wherever she wants.

Or wherever it wants - the room itself appears to be able to change shape / size / number of doors and presumably where the door(s) exit. Given that the room had a makeover by daddy (Gothmog) following Halloween, it might be an additional security measure he implemented to ensure the Goobers (and other assorted parties intent on killing Sara) don't try the trick of breaking and entering via the window again. It also makes it considerably harder for anyone to try to ambush Sara as she leaves her room, given that she could leave via either Poe or Hawthorne (surface) or Hawthorne (tunnels).

Oh, and of course, likewise for her pack (given the very reason for maintaining Poe's secret is the likelihood of angry bigots on campus - not to mention those who wouldn't look favourably upon anyone associating with the "demon") - if they've had a "meeting", some could exit in Poe, some could exit in Hawthorne, and some could exit in the tunnel system.
