Jade, Shroud and the JTeam pranced onto the stage. Jade and Shroud were both dressed in scandalously sexy maid uniforms. Reaching center stage Jade blew a kiss in Thuban's direction and Shroud flashed him with her Hello Kitty panties. And as the opening bars of AKB48's Heavy Rotation began they both pointed at him and in sexily sweet tones began singing "I Want You! I Need You! I Love You!"

The girls of Team Kimba finished their song and returned to their seats. Except for Chou, she was at the console selecting a new song.

She turned to face the others. "Our next victim, hem, participant is Ayla in a solo song." With a big smile she extended the microphone towards Ayla.

Hesitantly Ayla got up and gingerly took the microphone. She got to the front, turned towards the audience and looked down at the lyrics screen.

...

She set down the microphone. "I will take the penalty."

Chou replied. "There is no penalty. If I had to take part in Mulan's 'Honor to us all' then you can sing this!"

"I will take the penalty!"

From the audience Tony said. "Eat McDonald's takeout!"

"Deal!"

"For a week!"

"For never having to sing this song? Deal!"

Ayla returned to her seat.

Jade came bouncing up to the karaoke screen. "What's the song? Hey! This is a great song!" She started the music and began to sing. "I feel pretty. Oh so pretty. I feel pretty and witty and bright..."

In the audience Tony facepalmed. "I should have asked for a month."

Kodiak was pushed to the podium and given a microphone. Grumbling, he chose a song. The music started and at the proper moment he started to sing.

A small group of Dylan's separated themselves from the crowd and made their way up to the stage.

Blotter grasped the mike from the stand and qued the board to the song.

Suddenly four perfectly harmonized voice sprang fourth:

Is this the real life?
Is this just fantasy?

Magni-Girl started to walk up to the stage, but reflexively pulled back as Nacht glid up to the mike. Kate picked up the mike and made her selection from the karaoke machine.

Never departing from her trademark monotone, nor flinching from her deadpan expression, Kate sang:
'I see a red door and I want it painted black
No colors anymore I want them to turn black
I see the girls walk by dressed in their summer clothes
I have to turn my head until my darkness goes

I see a line of cars and they're all painted black
With flowers and my love, both never to come back
I see people turn their heads and quickly look away

Jana walked up to Goodvibes, who was responsible for the karaoke and music equipment. After a few whispered exchanges, a handwritten piece of paper, some furious web searching and downloading, Arwin gave her a thumbs-up.

She climbed to the stage and the music started. Two solitary voices from the back shouted an apparent request. Instead of being annoyed, though, she just smiled to Verdant and Força. Of course they recognized the tune and did the traditional thing.

She began to sing...

Vox stood up, she crooked a finger at Ayla and said "Come"

Ayla stood and walked up to the podium, looked at Vox's selection, cringed but relented when she said "Do it for me"

As the opening bars of the duet from Beauty and the Beast began and Vox sang out in a clear soprano the effect on the audience was immediate

In the back row, Dorgee, Molly and Chou snuggled up with each other and began kissing.

Bunny and Stalwart, who had been trading nasty glares at each other whenever Nikki wasn't looking were also affected. Tentatively the glares turned to glances and shortly after all three were holding hands much to Fey's delight.

And, as the song ended Vox pulled Ayla close, sensuously kissed her partner in front of everybody and for once Toni and Jade were completely speechless.

Ace and Kew were trying to get trough a locked door when it suddenly opened. To their horror they saw Chief Delarose and the Headmistress. They were interrupting a private meeting.

Ace, after desperately looking around, started to sing.
